FCBBS 8/8/15
Yet another monster winner for us last night as the White Sox were able to pull out the loss in Kansas City. Even though our record is 4-5 on these plays, we are still up $240 and looking to RAIN more PAIN on your bookmaker. We have some great opportunities today...
Giants (Cain) +131 (Pinnacle)
at
Cubs (Hendricks)
Risking 100 to win 131
The Giants have dropped the first two games of the series and need to claw back to avoid falling too far back in the wild card. They have their slump-buster on the hill today: Herman Cain, the mastermind behind the 9-9-9 plan: 9 innings pitched, 9 strikeouts, 9 beers in the clubhouse after the victory. Expect the Giants to be back in business this afternoon, especially because some of the Cubs players stayed out a little too late last night at Red Ivy (probably).
White Sox (Samardzija)
at
Royals (Guthrie) +102 (Pinnacle)
Risking 200 to win 204
I can't think of a pitcher who is more overrated than Jeff Samarja. The guy is at best a 3rd or 4th starter and lacks consistency. Every now and then he has a decent outing but the number of turds he's dropped this season is really starting to pile up and I'm worried about the infestation of flies and roaches in his general vicinity. Getting the first-place and Sox-owning Royals at plus-odds tonight is like stealing money from a homeless blind guy playing the ukelele under the el tracks. We DOUBLE DOWN tonight on Guthrie and Kansas City Fighting Yosts.
