FCBBS - NLCS Game 4
My thoughts on this series can best be described by the word of the greatest broadcaster of all time, Kenneth "Hawk" Harrelson: "OVAH!"
After a fruitful week of dumpster diving outside and INSIDE of Hawthorne Park, I was able to scrape together enough units to afford a Lyft (never Uber) to the Majestic Star Casinos in Gary, where I was fortunate to hit a number of progressive jackpots to rejuvinate my number of units so I can easily double them tonight.
Where do we even begin on this one? The Cubs offense has been completely cucked by any Dodgers pitcher that steps on the mound. The Cubs have been grabbin' so much bench they've got splinters in their heinies. In particular, Javier Baez has been so terrible he'd gladly swing at a seagull flying 75 feet overhead.
Tonight is the last start in a Cubs uniform for Jack Arrieta, the one-time ace. He had an ok run in Chicago, and good on him but it's time for him (and us) to get paid. He'll sandbag it tonight to make sure he doesn't get hurt on his way to a $100 million contract starting next season. Kerry Wood is out for revenge against his old team and will mow them down as the Dodgers cruise into the World Series.
Dodgers win this one 5-1 and the result is never in doubt.
Dodgers (Wood) -110 (Stratosphere bc the damn line moved from +100 to -120 everywhere else while I was writing this. Vegas knows when I start on these posts now it's ridiculous).
6969 units to win 6335.45 units
